We use endoscopic microsuction, a gentle and precise method that removes ear wax using a small suction device while the ear canal is carefully viewed. Unlike ear irrigation, microsuction does not use water.

Our ear wax removal service is currently available to patients aged 16 years and over. This helps ensure that every procedure is carried out safely and comfortably in accordance with our service guidelines.
We recommend using medical-grade olive oil ear drops for 3–5 days before your appointment to help soften the wax and make removal easier. Apply 2–3 drops to each affected ear before bedtime, unless you have been advised otherwise.
